Alliance Red
IGP Coteaux de Narbonne
It’s a wine bright red with tint purple. In the first time, the nose is reds and blacks fruits (cherry, blackberry), and in the second time some spices, vanilla and liquorice.
In mouth, it is a wine supple with a round entry. The tannins are soft and polished with the fat. In final we have cooked fruits and black fruits (black berry). This is an easy to drink wine.
Soil :
Hillside mesozoic limestone. gravel soils. Chalky-clayey soils.
Grape varieties :
Marselan (40%), Merlot (20%), Cabernet Franc (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%)
Vinification :
The grapes are picked up by machine. The stalks are taken off before to go in tank for the fermentation. Grapes varieties ferment in different tank, under temperature control. The vatting time is short to keep the fruits aroma.
Food and wine :
Pleasant wine which can accompane different sort of dishes : poultry grills, white meat, pâté, meat grills, hot and spicy dishes, italian food.
Advice :
Wine that can be drunk slightly cool in summer.
